PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a novel liquid crystal molded article capable of developing excellent optical characteristics possessed by a liquid crystal material. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal molded article is manufactured by molding a sheetlike laminate including a substrate film and the liquid crystal material film. Especially, the liquid crystal molded article is manufactured by molding the sheetlike laminate including the substrate film and the liquid crystal material film into a desired shape and subsequently orienting the liquid crystal material constituting the liquid crystal material film.
