PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generator and power generation equipment having a heating unit.SOLUTION: A hydrogen generator includes a first tank 112, a porous structure 114, a first guide structure 116 and a heating unit 118. The first tank 112 stores a solid reactant 50. The porous structure 114 is arranged in the first tank 112. The first guide structure 116 has a first end part 116a and a second end part 116b faced to each other. The first end part 116a is connected with the porous structure 114, and the second end part 116b is projected outside the first tank 112. The heating unit 118 is connected with the second end part 116b. A liquid reactant 60 is heated and vaporized by the heating unit 118 through the second end part 116b to be a gas reactant 60', and the gas reactant 60' reaches the porous structure 114 through the first end part 116a to diffuse from the porous structure 114 to the first tank 112 and reacts with the solid reactant 50 to form hydrogen 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
