The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device which is capable of preventing bending and light leakage of optical sheets. Provided is a display device (1), comprising a display panel (7) which displays a video, a light-guide plate (3) which opposes the display panel (7) and emits light toward the display panel (7), a spacer (5) which forms a gap between the light-guide plate (3) and the display panel (7), and optical sheets (6) which are positioned in the gap, wherein: the circumference edge of the light-guide plate (3) is located further toward the outer side than the display panel (7); and the spacer (5) further comprises a panel attachment part (51) which is attached to an edge portion in one face of the display panel (7), and a light-guide plate attachment part (52) which is contiguous with the panel attachment part (51) and is attached to an edge portion in one face of the light-guide plate (3). |
