发明名称 SUPERCONDUCTING COIL DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a close-wound superconducting coil and to enhance its quenching-resistant property by a method wherein the stability margin at both end parts of a coil winding is made larger than that in other parts. CONSTITUTION:A coil winding part 4 is constituted of a winding central part 6 and a winding surface part 5; it is fixed to a coolant container 1 via an insulating material 2; it is cooled by liquid helium 3 as a coolant. A circular superconducting coil whose inside diameter is at about 100mm, whose outside diameter is at 210mm, whose length is at about 90mm, whose number of layers is 36, whose total number of turns is 1170. whose inductance is at about 0.165H is close-wound while the winding surface part 5 is soldered and connected in such a way that it constitutes four layers form the surface of the coil. After that, the coil is immersed in an epoxy resin in a vacuum; a superconducting coil is obtained. A complicated vibration mode is analyzed; the stability margin on the coil winding surface in required parts is increased. Thereby, the quenching can be suppressed. Foe example, the surface of a superconducting conductor which uses copper as a stabilization mother material on the surface of the coil winding is covered with high-purity aluminum in required quantities. Thereby, the stability margin can be increased locally.
