This solar cell element is provided with: a silicon substrate 1 that has a plurality of recessed portions 11 in one main surface; a passivation layer 9 that is arranged on the main surface of the silicon substrate 1 and has holes 91 at positions corresponding to the recessed portions 11; first conductor parts 13 that are arranged in the holes 91 of the passivation layer 9; an electrode which is arranged on the passivation layer 9 and is connected to the first conductor parts 13, while containing aluminum; second conductor parts 14 that are arranged within the recessed portions 11 of the silicon substrate 1 and are connected respectively to the first conductor parts 13 and the silicon substrate 1, while containing aluminum and silicon; and void portions 12 that are positioned within the recessed portions 11 of the silicon substrate 1, and where the second conductor parts 14 are not arranged. |
