The present invention relates to a device and a method thereof to fix an axial entry type dovetail. According to the present invention, to fix an axial entry type dovetail, the axial entry type dovetail is strongly fixed in an axial direction by inserting a pair of stopper members, installed on a radial inner end part of a dovetail groove to face with each other in an axial direction and correspond to a position of a gap formed between the radial inner end part and both axial end parts of the dovetail, and a pair of wedge members, formed of heterogeneous materials and of which upper part has lower yield strength than the yield strength of the main body, into both sides of the gap. A process of additionally inserting and changing a locking sheet is excluded to minimize a process of fixing the dovetail in an axial direction, and therefore, the convenience of workers is improved and working time is reduced. |
