The present invention relates to a cleaning apparatus for makeup brushes designed in such a manner that: fine dust including cosmetics components sticking on various makeup brushes are removed effectively by a rotating brush member; the brushes are sterilized by an infrared ray lamp; and the removed find dust are collected and disposed by a suction means and an alcohol spray means. The cleaning apparatus for makeup brushes, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a main body having an accommodation space therein, an opened side, a plurality of brush insertion holes arranged on the bottom surface thereof to allow makeup brushes to be inserted in the vertical direction, and a controller arranged on the outer side thereof; a cover member installed on the opened side of the main body to be able to be opened and closed; the rotating brush member installed to be able to rotate on the top portion of the accommodation space and rotating to make the makeup brushes inserted into the brush insertion holes to be cleaned; an infra ray lamp installed on one surface of the accommodation space, to be turned on/off and sterilizing the makeup brushes inserted into the brush insertion holes when the lamp is turned on; and the suction means installed on the bottom surface of the accommodation space to perform a sucking operation and sucking in fine dust released from the makeup brushes by the operating rotating brush member. |
