PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of differentiated display of advertisements on the basis of differentiating criteria in communication systems.SOLUTION: A wireless device 304 is in wireless communication with a server 302. The wireless device has a display 306 for displaying graphical text/images to a user. According to an exemplary method, the wireless device receives an advertisement 308 from the server 302 and displays the advertisement 308 differentiated on the basis of one or more criteria in order to indicate to the user a satisfaction of the one or more criteria. The wireless device may differentiate the advertisement 308 by displaying the advertisement with a particular banner, frame, background, color, font, text and/or additional image when the one or more criteria are satisfied.
