PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing management unit of a digital printing device reducing or avoiding misprint due to the interruption of printing even when printing of a proof print sheet is inserted within the framework of a copy printing job.SOLUTION: A printing management unit prepares first raster data for a printing sheet of a copy printing job (401), and inserts a task for printing many copies of the printing sheet into a printing buffer after the lapse of the preparation period of the first raster data (402). The printing buffer determines a second time point in which a first number of copies to be printed of the printing sheet are included. At the second time point, second raster data for a proof print sheet of a proof print job is prepared (403). After the lapse of the preparation period of the second raster data, a task for printing the proof print sheet is inserted into the printing buffer (404), and the copies of the printing sheet and the proof print sheet are printed in the order of tasks in the printing buffer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
