<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a cross section shape of a cell. <P>SOLUTION: A cell cross section analysis device includes: an imaging mechanism which observes a system including a cell and a liquid in an in-focus state through a microscope while moving the system in a first direction, and picks up a plurality of in-focus images differing in a perpendicular direction as a plurality of two-dimensional plane images defined with a second direction crossing the first direction and a third direction crossing the first direction and the second direction; an image correction section which performs correction processing for sharpening the plurality of in-focus images picked up by the imaging mechanism; and an image processing section which generates a pseudo cross-section image through reconstitution such that one of cross sections in the second direction and the third direction is connected to the plurality of in-focus images having been corrected by the image correction section while passing an arbitrary point on the two-dimensional plane on the basis of the plurality of in-focus images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
