Provided is an airbag device capable of preventing the occurrence of fish-mouth phenomenon and of reducing the weight of a retainer. An airbag device provided with an airbag (2) which is usually folded and which expands and develops in an emergency, an inflator (3) for supplying gas to the airbag (2), a retainer (4) for securing the airbag (2) and the inflator (3), and an airbag cover (5) for housing the airbag (2), wherein: the airbag cover (5) has a plate-like part (51), which constitutes the interior surface of a vehicle, and an inner case (52), which is disposed on the rear surface of the plate-like part (51) and constitutes an expansion and development path for the airbag (2); the inner case (52) has a plurality of retention holes (53) for retaining the retainer (4); and the retainer (4) has a roughly planar-shaped support body (41) capable of being stored within the inner case (52) and an annular belt-like body (42) inserted into the retention holes (53) and attached to the support body (41). |
