The invention relates to a method for the production of packages for cigarettes, wherein the package is made of at least two separate cutouts (14, 33), which are inserted together into a pocket (40) of a folding revolver while at least partially folding the cutouts (14, 33). The invention provides that the cutouts (14, 33) are fixed to one another before inserting the same into the pocket (40) of the folding revolver. This is preferably carried out by means of gluing. When producing packages of the flip-top package type having a box part (10), a cover (12) disposed thereon in a pivoting manner, and a collar disposed in the box part (10), a package cutout (14) for the box part (10) and the cover (12) and a separate collar cutout (33) for the collar can be inserted together into a pocket (40) of a folding revolver while folding the package cutout (14) and the collar cutout (33) at least partially, wherein the collar cutout (33) is fixed on the package cutout (14) before inserting the same into the pocket (40) of the folding revolver. |
