In the present invention, there is disclosed a method of combating phytopathogenic diseases on crop plants, comprising applying to the crop plants or the locus thereof being infested with said phytopathogenic disease an effective amount of a) 4-(2,2-difluoro-1, 3-benzodioxol-7-yl) pyrrole-3-carbonitrile, in association with b) 1-({beta}-allyloxy-2, 4-dichlorophenylethyl) imidazole, which synergistically enhances the activity against phytopathogenic diseases. The method is particularly suitable for the protection of propagation stock of plants, for combating phytopathogenic diseases on crop plants in post-harvest storage and for seed dressing. The causal agent of a phytopathogenic disease is particularly phytopathogenic fungus of the class Fungi imperfecti. The invention also discloses a fungicidal composition containing a fungicidally effective combination of the above-indicated component a) and b) , whereby the weight ratio of the component a) : component b) in the combination is preferably within the range of from about 20:1 to 1:20. |
