PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a search system for search objects, each of which is supposed to carry what is light in weight and compact and requires no battery replacement or charging, capable of reliably retrieving the object even when the position thereof is lost sight of.SOLUTION: A search system for searching for the positions of search objects comprises: a public line 100; access-authorized terminals 103A which, out of terminals in a subscriber terminal group 103 mutually communicable via the public line, are permitted to participate in the system by the respective subscribers; a server 102 communicably connected to the public line; and a beacon transmitter 104 that is carried by a search object and transmits beacon signals containing ID information. The access-authorized terminal 103A has a beacon signal receiver 310 for receiving beacon signals and, upon receiving a beacon signal, transmits ID information and information on the position of a communicable terminal contained in the received beacon signal to the server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
