The present invention relates to a scroll expander to supply an oil separated from a coolant via an oil separator provided on a suction side of a working fluid of the scroll expander to a back pressure chamber located on a rear side of an orbiting scroll in order to prevent reduction of a power output due to an internal leakage for a sliding part of the scroll; and to enable efficient lubrication to various friction parts including a bearing and an anti-rotation mechanism arranged inside a back pressure chamber. The scroll expander comprises: a casing having a fixated scroll (20) and an orbiting scroll (30); an oil separator (80) installed in a suction path of the working fluid in the casing (10); a suction chamber (22) receiving a coolant through a coolant flowing path from the oil separator (80); a back pressure chamber (28) receiving oil through an oil flowing path from the oil separator (80); and a discharging chamber (26) to discharge a combined oil to the outside by combining the coolant in an expanded state passed through an expansion chamber (24) from the suction chamber (22), and the oil passed through the back pressure chamber (28). The coolant flowing path and the oil flowing path are mutually separated to respectively be connected to the suction chamber (22) and the back pressure chamber (28). |
