<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat absorbing member having superior heat absorbing performance thanks to sufficient infrared absorption effect and durability without damaging a texture of a base material formed of textiles, film, a fabric or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The heat absorbing member includes: a base material; and an endothermic layer formed on a surface of the base material, containing an organic compound having infrared absorption characteristics and a group of inorganic particulates each having a surface to which a silane monomer is bonded. The particulates of the group consisting of the inorganic particulates are bonded to each other via a chemical bond between the silane monomers on the surfaces of the particulates, and the group of the inorganic particulates is bonded to the base material by the chemical bonding to the silane monomers to prevent the organic compounds held by the inorganic particulates from agglutinating, thereby causing uniform dispersion of the organic compounds on the surfaces of the base material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
