PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension pipe avoiding an increase of a power line laid on the extension pipe, being disposed with a light source and a power supply circuit for the light source while suppressing an increase in size and having high convenience, and further to provide a vacuum cleaner.SOLUTION: An extension pipe 25 comprises: an inner pipe body 52 having an air conduit; a hook cover portion 109 provided to a joint portion 58; a hook 59 being caught by the joint portion 58 of a suction port body inserted into the inner pipe body 52 and preventing the joint portion 58 of the suction port body from coming off from the inner pipe body 52; a socket being accommodated in the hook cover portion 109 and being electrically connected to an electric circuit of the suction port body inserted into the inner pipe body 52; a power line 47 being disposed outside the inner pipe body 52 and supplying power to the socket; a light-emitting element 118 serving as a light source provided on an outer surface portion of the hook cover portion 109; a power supply circuit being disposed outside the inner pipe body 52, being electrically connected to the power line 47, adjusting input power flowing through the power line 47 and supplying output power to the light source; and a protective cover 61 being provided on the joint portion 58 of the inner pipe body 52 and covering and hiding the hook cover portion 109 and the power supply circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
