According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a processor for receiving an input signal for requesting authorization, determining whether a mobile oriented (MO) server can use or not, based on one or more among the international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) of the electronic device and the network internet protocol (IP) information, and generating an authorization code when it is determined that the MO server can be used; and a communication module for transmitting the authorization code generated to the MO server.
