PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for baby food or for food for elderly people which can suppress an influence of ultraviolet rays on contents.SOLUTION: A container 1 is for baby food or for food for elderly people. The container 1 includes: a transparent cup 3 which is acquired by performing vacuum-molding or press-molding on a laminated sheet having an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer; and a shrink film 2 for coating a side surface 42 of a cap 4 and a side surface 35 of a trunk part 34 of the transparent cup 3. The ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer has an ethylene component content of 20-30 mol%. The thickness of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer layer in a flange part 30 is 110 μm to 174 μm. Transmissivity of ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 253.7 m of the shrink film 2 is equal to or less than 0.1%, and the shrink film has perforations 20, 22 so that all can be removed at opening time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
