PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductor excellent in terms of productivity and production cost, in which a conductive layer can be easily formed with a uniform thickness.SOLUTION: The transparent conductor includes an adhesive layer, a polarizing layer, and a conductive layer, successively stacked on at least one surface of a glass substrate subjected to a polishing treatment. The conductive layer is formed by using a coating composition comprising a conductive polymer and has a surface resistivity of 10to 10&OHgr;/unit square.SELECTED DRAWING: None
