摘要 The present invention provides a coated lenticular or disc detergent particle having perpendicular dimensions x, y and z, wherein x is from 1 to 2 mm, y is from 2 to 8 mm and z is from 2 to 8 mm, wherein the particle comprises: (i) from 40 to 90 wt % surfactant selected from anionic surfactant and non-ionic surfactant; (ii) from 1 to 40 wt % water soluble inorganic salts; and (iii) from 0.0001 to 0.1 wt % dye, wherein the dye is covalently bound to from 1 to 4 sulphonate groups, wherein the inorganic salts and the dye are present on the detergent particle as a coating and the surfactant is present as a core.

A coated detergent particle having perpendicular dimensions x, y and z, wherein x is from 1 to 2 mm, y is from 2 to 8 mm, and z is from 2 to 8 mm, wherein x is not equal to y and z, and wherein the particle consists of: a core consisting of surfactant, and optionally, at least one of soap, water, fluorescent agent, perfume, pigment, carboxymethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene imine, ethoxylated polyethylene imine, water soluble polyester polymer, polycarboxylate, polyacrylate, maleic/acrylic acid copolymer, lauryl methacrylate/acrylic acid copolymer, enzyme, or enzyme stabilizer; and a coating consisting of water soluble inorganic salts, dye and optionally, at least one of water, fluorescent agent, perfume, pigment, carboxymethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene imine, ethoxylated polyethylene imine, water soluble polyester polymer, polycarboxylate, polyacrylate, maleic/acrylic acid copolymer, lauryl methacrylate/acrylic acid copolymer, enzyme, or enzyme stabilizer; and wherein from 40 to 90 wt % of the coated detergent particle is the surfactant; wherein the surfactant is selected from anionic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant, and combinations thereof; wherein from 1 to 40 wt % of the coated detergent particle is the water soluble inorganic salts; wherein from 0.001 to 0.01 wt % of the coated detergent particle is the dye; and wherein the dye is covalently bound to from 1 to 4 sulphonate groups.
