摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve evaluation of an optical frequency comb with more simple apparatus and method.SOLUTION: A method for evaluating accuracy of laser frequency measurement by using an optical frequency comb includes: on the basis of a measurement result of an oscillation mode when varying an oscillation frequency of a frequency variable laser 120 capable of varying frequency and having a mode transition frequency in which the oscillation mode varies according to the frequency, identifying a mode order nof the output light from a first light frequency comb 110 in a case of detecting a first beat frequency obtained when interfering the first optical frequency comb 110 and the output light from the frequency variable laser 120; on the basis of the mode order n, the detected first beat frequency, and a second beat frequency obtained when interfering a second optical frequency comb 140 and the output light from the frequency variable laser 120, identifying a mode order nof the second optical frequency comb 140; and comparing a first absolute frequency measurement result obtained from the first optical frequency comb 110 and a second absolute frequency measurement result obtained from the second optical frequency comb 140.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
