<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roofing structure of a roof material, capable of preventing the roof material from floating or the like without taking time and labor. <P>SOLUTION: The roofing structure of a roof material 2 is formed by roofing the roof materials 2 in two or more stages in an eaves ridge direction. The roof materials 2 are arranged adjacently in a longitudinal direction and the eaves ridge direction on a roof substrate 1. Side end parts 3 of the roof materials 2 are abutted to each other. On the roof material 2 on an eaves side, the roof material 2 on a ridge side is piled up. An eaves side end part 5 of the roof material 2 on the ridge side is positioned more on an eaves side than a ridge side end part 4 of the roof material 2 on the eaves side. The roof material 2 is provided with a first fixture insertion hole 6. One side end part 3 of the roof material 2 is provided with a second fixture insertion hole 7. A shaft part 8 of a fixture 10 formed by providing a head 9 on one end of the shaft part 8 is inserted to the first fixture insertion hole 6 and the roof material 2 is pressed by the head 9. In the state of abutting the side end parts 3 of the left and right roof materials 2 to each other, the shaft part 8 of the other fixture 10 is inserted to the second fixture insertion hole 7, and the side end parts 3 of the left and right roof materials 2 are pressed by the head 9.
