PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller for electrophotography that has excellent uniformity in charge-providing performance, and is designed for a high-speed image forming process.SOLUTION: A roller for electrophotography according to the present invention is a roller for electrophotography including a conductive substrate having a cylindrical shape and a surface layer on the substrate. The surface layer includes a binder resin and a conductive filler having a spiral shape, and the conductive filler is aligned, in the surface layer, to include a vector component in which the direction of a spiral axis of the conductive filler is substantially perpendicular to the surface of the surface layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
