PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an indoor unit of an air conditioner which has a dust box enabling dust in the dust box to be directly discarded into a dust bin in an easy manner and avoiding the possibility that a hand touches a cleaning brush.SOLUTION: The indoor unit includes: a filter 9 to which dust adheres; a brush 12 which scrapes the dust adhering to the filter 9; a dust box 10; and a shell structure part 31 to which the dust box 10 is fixed. The dust box 10 includes: a box body 10a which includes a bearing rotationally supporting a shaft of the brush 12, the box body 10a in which opening parts are formed on an upper surface and a bottom surface and the brush 12 protrudes upward from the opening part on the upper surface; and a dust cover 11 which covers the opening part 26 on the bottom surface of the box body 10a and stores the scraped dust. The dust box is detachably attached to the shell structure part 31. The dust cover 11 is rotatably connected with the box body 10a through a hinge 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
