PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of generating a boundary area in which brightness changes step by step between a light shield area present in a lighting area and an irradiation area adjacent to the light shield area.SOLUTION: A lighting device includes light irradiation means that includes a light source, a reflector array in which a plurality of reflectors are independently driven to be turned on or off on the basis of control information, and a projection portion projecting reflected light onto a lighting area, detects a light shield target on the basis of image information on the lighting area, generates the control information for turning each of the reflectors on or off so that a plurality of irradiation patterns containing a light shield area constituted by a plurality of dark pixels for blocking light from the light shield target and differing in an arrangement state of the dark pixels and bright pixels around the light shield area are alternately irradiated, and controls the light irradiation means on the basis of the generated control information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
