PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device capable of reducing current consumption.SOLUTION: A solid-state image pickup device 3 includes: plural pixel arrays 11-1, 11-2, 11-3 and 11-4; plural conversion circuits ADC 12-1, 12-2, 12-3 and 12-4; plural latch circuit groups 13-1, 13-2, 13-3 and 13-4, which are holding circuits; and a transfer circuit 14. The transfer circuit 14 transfers pixel data held in by the holding circuit to the external at every reading period. The conversion circuit and the holding circuit is provided to each of the plural pixel arrays. The conversion circuit executes a signal conversion in a first period in the reading period, and in a second period following the first period, the conversion circuit interrupts the signal conversion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
