PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus for easy culture of green vegetables, etc., while electrolyzing water, preventing the precipitation of metallic ion and the fluctuation of hydrogen ion concentration in the hydroponic solution, by putting a cathode in a case made of an ion-selective permeable membrane and placing the case in a hydroponic solution tank. CONSTITUTION:A cathode 13 is put into a case 15 having an ion-selective permeable membrane 14 stretched over one or more wall faces of the case. The case 15 is placed in a hydroponic solution tank 11 made of e.g. a synthetic resin and a DC potential is applied to the cathode and an anode 12 of the form of e.g. a mesh. Vegetables or flowers are cultured by using the hydroponic solution. |
