PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven steering column device having improved assemblability of major components without causing increase in size of the whole device and deterioration of rigidity of a lower jacket.SOLUTION: A telescopic drive device 9 is crosslinkingly disposed across a lower jacket 2 and an upper jacket 3. The driving device 9 includes a motor unit 10, a screw shaft 11, and a base part 13 for coupling one end of the screw shaft 11 with the upper jacket 3. A slot 24 and a guide rail part 25 are formed along a longitudinal direction in the lower jacket 2. The base part 13 is slidably supported by the guide rail part 25. In the base part 13, an attachment bolt 33 for engaging an engagement hole 29 of the upper jacket 3 side is disposed, and the base part 13 and the upper jacket 3 are configured to integrally move back and forth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
