The present invention relates to a load cell attachment and detachment device for a load adding device, and a method for operating the same. More specifically, the load cell attachment and detachment device enables a load cell and a heavy hydraulic actuator to be smoothly connected to test a structure such as a heavy and large structure or a heavy and large test body and enables the load cell and the heavy hydraulic actuator to be easily separated. The load cell attachment and detachment device enables the load cell of a load adding device to be attached to and detached from a rear end part of the stud bolt, wherein the load cell comprises: the hydraulic actuator; a stud bolt; and the load cell comprising a fist connection unit connected to the stud bolt.
