The present invention relates to a bulk type small area thermoelectric module and a manufacturing method thereof. The bulk type small area thermoelectric module has a matrix shape wherein a plurality of n-type thermoelectric legs and a plurality of p-type thermoelectric legs are mutually and alternately glued in the upward and downward directions and in the left and right directions by means of insulating glue. The insulating glue comprises a double-sided adhesive tape made of a polyimid material. The present invention can be used to locally cool all kinds of machines and electronic devices and widely used as a new and renewable energy source.
