The present invention relates to a system and a method for authenticating a handwritten signature. More specifically, the time division segment block-based system for authenticating a handwritten signature performs authentication of a handwritten signature by using time division segment block-based handwritten signature characteristic information including segments divided by a predetermined time unit when a user puts a handwritten signature. The system for authenticating a handwritten signature comprises: a handwritten signature input unit; a registration unit; and a handwritten signature authentication unit. |
