The invention provides a safe intrusion sensor unit arranged in a unit housing, the housing being adapted to be installed on or near a door of the safe, the sensor unit comprising: a magnetic door sensor that detects an open or closed position of the door of the safe by proximity of a magnet, the magnetic door sensor and magnet being positioned so as to move relative to each other into and out of proximity when the door is opened or closed; an accelerometer sensor that detects acceleration of the unit housing; a processor programmed (i) to receive signals from the sensors, (ii) to process the signals using a processing algorithm to produce alarm state information, and (iii) to output the alarm state information; and an alarm transmission link between the processor and an alarm panel that transmits the alarm state information output by the processor to the alarm panel. ttttttt Z?4 f f f au 0 (2 C, 0l |
