FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spray dryer for dispersed materials in metallurgy, chemical, food and other industries. Swirl spray dryer comprises drying chamber with a cylindrical shape with chordal-arranged nozzles for supply of heat carrier, axes being located tangentially to imaginary circle, and a sprayer fitted along chamber axis, drying chamber is composed of two cylinders of different diameter, smaller of which is equal to 1.0…1.5 of diameter of said imaginary circle, nozzles are arranged from outlet section of smaller cylinder at distance not exceeding two diameters of nozzle, in it at level of nozzles in planes parallel to its axis, at a distance from it h = aR blades are inclined towards flow leaving gas nozzles, where a is location of nozzles, R is radius of chamber. In dryer there are at least two slotted nozzles arranged at larger cylinder inner wall, nozzles are arranged in collectors, connected by pipelines with header for supply of heated gases and directed tangentially to larger cylinder circumference at point of contact of manifold with larger cylinder inner wall, and fluid sprayer comprises a body, which is composed of feed nose-piece with a central bore and rigidly jointed therewith and coaxial cylindrical sleeve with inner thread in cylindrical case there is expansion chamber coaxial to housing, body in its lower part is connected to sleeve nozzle made in form of inverted barrel, in bottom of which is a turbulent fluid flow swirler with at least two inclined to axis of nozzle inlet cylindrical holes arranged in bottom of nozzle with central cylindrical orifice is connected with nozzle mixing chamber communicated with outlet diffuser chamber.EFFECT: technical result is improved efficiency and quality of drying by preventing material sticking on chamber wall.1 cl, 3 dwg |
