Abstract A system for use in a geophysical survey, the system comprises: a length of electrical cable; a support structure for supporting the length of electrical cable in a spaced apart relationship relative to a surface of an area of land that is to be subjected to the geophysical survey; a power supply for supplying electric energy to the length of cable such that an electrical current is induced into a subsurface of the area of land; and a measuring arrangement for measuring at least one electrical property of the subsurface of the area of land, wherein the electrical property is a consequence of the electrical current induced into the subsurface. 418049 1 (GHMailers- P99798 AI J NGYFNN |
