1. An in situ method for preparing a resin solution comprising:
(a) providing a solution comprising polyvinyl alcohol polymer with ethylene groups, alcohol and a C1-C3 aldehyde in order to achieve an acetalization of under 25 mol %; and (b) adjusting the liquid content of the solution in order to have from about 20 to about 35 wt. % solids content, wherein, said method does not comprise any step selected from the group consisting of: isolation step, a washing step and a precipitation step. |
