Disclosed is a flexible display. The flexible display comprises: a flexible display screen; an infrared emitting apparatus, disposed on a frame of the flexible display screen and comprising at least one infrared emitting unit; an infrared receiving apparatus, disposed on the frame of the flexible display screen and comprising at least one infrared receiving unit; and a signal processing unit, in signaling connection to each infrared receiving unit in the infrared receiving apparatus and used for determining the folding state of the flexible display screen according to an infrared signal receiving state of each infrared receiving unit in the infrared receiving apparatus. The flexible display can determine the folding state of the flexible display screen by means of the cooperation of the infrared emitting apparatus and the infrared receiving apparatus, and further, can perform corresponding follow-up processing such as an interactive operation according to the corresponding folding state. The preparation process of the flexible display is simple, and the manufacturing cost of the flexible display is reduced.
