PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distilled water producer that can produce distilled water at low price by reducing a running cost while employing facilities which can be manufactured at low price.SOLUTION: A distillation apparatus comprises a rotation drum 10 that has an outer drum 11 and an inner drum 12 to form a hot-air passage 15 between both drums 11 and 12, driving means 20 that rotatably drives the rotation drum 10, a hot-air generator 30 that heats air with an electric heater to supply hot air to the hot-air passage 15, a cover 40 that has a cover opening part 41 extending in the lengthwise direction of the outer drum 11, spray means 50 that sprays raw water to an opening counter region 14A that faces the cover opening part 41 out of the outer peripheral surface of the inner drum 12, a steam recovery duct 42 that recovers steam generated by the raw water spray, condensation means 60 that condenses the steam recovered by the steam recovery duct 42 to obtain distilled water, and solid matter recovery means 70 that peels off to recover a solid matter deposited on the outer peripheral surface of the inner drum 12. |
