PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery effectively exhibiting characteristics intrinsically provided by a negative electrode.SOLUTION: The lithium ion secondary battery contains a negative electrode containing composite particles made by compositing first particles of graphite and second particles containing silicon atoms using a carbonaceous material different from graphite; a positive electrode containing at least one kind selected from the group consisting of LiCoO, LiNiO, LiNiCoMnO(0<x and y<1), LiNiMnO(0<x≤2), and LiFePO; and an electrolyte. |
