The present invention relates to a liquid crystal composition, a liquid crystal device, and use of a liquid crystal device. An exemplary liquid crystal composition can be used in manufacturing a liquid crystal switched between a haze mode and a non-haze mode. The liquid crystal composition also prevents color change in an anisotropic dye in a curing process, thereby forming a liquid crystal device with excellent transmissivity variability. The liquid crystal device can be applied to various optical modulation devices such as a smart window, a window protection film, a flexible display device, a 3D image displaying active retarder, or a view angle controlling film. The liquid crystal composition comprises a polymer precursor, an oxime ester initiator, a non-curable liquid crystal compound, and an anisotropic dye. |
