The present invention provides a switching device for a contact breaker having a safety function of changing an on mode. The switching device for a contact breaker having a safety function of changing an on mode comprises: a protrusion protruding from one side of a moving member to push one end of the moving member when the moving member over-rotates at a prescribed off mode position; a cover plate mounted on a support housing to cover a portion of the moving member to prevent an escape of the moving member; a stopping member rotatably hinge-mounted on the cover plate, wherein one end thereof is arranged on a moving path of the protrusion to tightly press the protrusion when a key knob is positioned on an off mode display unit according to a rotational direction, and the other end thereof is arranged to be withdrawn through a guide hole formed on one side of the support housing; and a safety means rotatably hinge-mounted on the cover plate, wherein a stopping unit is arranged on the moving path of the protrusion tightly pressed on one end thereof when the protrusion moves in an on mode direction according to a rotational direction to stop a movement of the protrusion, and the other end thereof is arranged to be withdrawn through the guide hole formed on the one side of the support housing. |
