The invention provides a cheap and small switch device comprising a housing, of which a base is embedded with switching fixing contacts, a cover portion superposed on and integrated with the housing, an operation body maintained between the housing and the cover portion in a rotary means, a movable contact body sliding on the fixed switching contacts, a common contact communicating with the movable contact body, and a press portion resetting the operation body to the initial state. As the operation body rotates, the sliding contact portion of the movable contacts contact or depart the fixed switching contacts. The movable contacts comprise a connection portion opposite to the cover portion, which is made of metallic plates and provided with common contacts abut against the connection portion. Since the cover portion is made of metallic plates, the cover portion when compared with embedded moulding portion is lower in cost and is thinner. The switch device becomes smaller. |
