Disclosed are a head-up display device and a steering guide method using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the head-up display device comprises: a navigation device to provide current location information of a vehicle; a side sensor to detect a distance between the vehicle and a left obstacle; a control unit to select any one guide indicator among a plurality of guide indicators to be displayed based on the distance between the vehicle and the left obstacle if a guide indicator display condition is satisfied; and a display panel to receive an image signal from the control unit to display the selected guide indicator. |
