PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable and a wire harness that are capable of preventing migration of plasticizer to an optical fiber strand with an optical fiber cable itself without requiring another member such as a sheathing material.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable 1 comprises an optical fiber strand 2 and a covering layer 3 for covering the periphery thereof. The covering layer 3 includes at least two layers of an inner covering layer 31 formed on an optical fiber strand 2 side and an outer covering layer 32 formed outside the inner covering layer 31. The inner covering layer 31 is made of an extrusion-moldable material. The outer covering layer 32 is made of an extrusion-moldable material, and is formed of such a covering layer as to have a flexural modulus larger than that of the inner covering layer 31 and have a solubility parameter of 10 or more and a preventive function against migration of plasticizer.
