PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat source machine system and an operational method for the heat source machine for controlling and stopping operations of a plurality of heat source machines in such a way that an operation time that is a time elapsed from an installing time of the heat source machine or maintenance time and a driving time that is a time actually starting from the time of installation or maintenance time may be coincided to each other as much as possible.SOLUTION: A driving heat source machine 1 and a stopping heat source machine 1 in a heat source machine system for operating and stopping a plurality of heat source machines 1 are judged on the basis of a driving time ratio defined as a ratio between an operating time that is a time elapsed from an installing time or maintenance time of the heat source machine 1 and a driving time that is a time when the heat source machine 1 is actually operated from the installing time or the maintenance time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
