The present invention relates to a composition for skin moisturization, containing a hydrangea leaf extract as an active ingredient, and to a production method thereof. According to the present invention, it is possible to produce the cosmetic composition which contains the hydrangea leaf extract and exhibits excellent moisturizing effects when applying the same onto skin.
