PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay that can be reduced in manufacturing cost and size.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay 1 has a pair of fixed contact terminals 22 each having a fixed contact 38, a movable contact spring 18 which contains a pair of movable pieces 18a, 18b each having a movable contact 36 which approaches to and separates from the fixed contact point, and a joint portion 18c for joining the pair of movable pieces, an armature 16 having a flat plate portion 16a adsorbed to an iron core 24 and a suspension portion 16b which is bent from the flat plate portion and extends downwards, the movable contact spring being moved by rotational motion of the armature 16, and an electromagnet device 31 for generating the rotational motion of the armature. The suspension portion 16b has a projection 16f for fixing the movable contact spring onto a first face confronting the electromagnet device, and an attracting portion 16b2 which extends downwards from the projection and attracts the movable contact spring when current flows between the fixed contact and the movable contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
