PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater which inhibits back flow (intrusion) of drain from the downstream side relative to a fan in a combustion gas flow passage to an interior part of the fan.SOLUTION: A fan 6 includes: a fan case 61; an impeller 62 housed in the fan case 61; a driving source 63 which is attached to the fan case 61 so as to drive the impeller 62; and a rotary shaft which connects the impeller 62 with the driving source 63. An exhaust air connection part 7 has a connection part case 71. An exhaust port 71aa for exhausting a combustion gas sent from the fan 6 side to an exterior part of the water heater 100 is provided at the exhaust air connection part 7. The exhaust air connection part 7 has a drain discharge part 72 for discharging drain at the downstream side relative to the fan 6 in a combustion gas flow passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
