PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawn wire material having improved tensile strength and fatigue resistance characteristic, while keeping a high conductivity, and used as a trolley wire and a suspension wire as power feeding equipment for a streetcar.SOLUTION: There is provided a drawn wire material containing 0.4-0.8 wt% Mg, 0.005 wt% or more Nb, and a residue comprising Cu and inevitable impurities. The content of Nb is preferably 0.005-0.035 wt%. The obtained drawn wire material has a tensile strength of 470 MPa or higher, a conductivity of 60%IACS or higher, and an excellent fatigue characteristic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
