发明名称 METHOD FOR FABRICATING OXIDATION FILM ON METALLIC MATERIALS
摘要 The present invention relates to a method for forming an oxidation thin film on a metal capable of controlling properties of the thin film with low power by using bipolar pulse currents and, more specifically, to a method for forming an oxidation thin film on a metal by forming a micro arc oxidation coating layer on the surface of the metal by dipping the metal into an electrolyte and applying the electric currents to the metal while allowing the metal to function as an anodic pole and allowing an opposite electrode to function as a cathodic pole. The anodic pulse currents are applied between the anodic pole and the cathodic pole. The currents performs a series of process successively performing an anodic pulse step; a first pause step; a cathodic pulse step; and a second pause step at least once. The method for forming the oxidation thin film on the metal is capable of remarkably reducing resistance generated by ions and particles accelerated when the polarity of pulse currents is changed by including the pause step that the anodic pulse current is not applied. Eventually, an effect of improving the efficiency of the micro arc oxidation process is obtained.
